There are several foods that can be used. The most common are digital thermometers and dial -type dual metal thermometers.
Digital thermometer: It has a digital reading panel on the upper end of its metal handle. Digital thermometer uses batteries to provide electricity and needs to switch it itself. The internal temperature of the food can be measured in about five seconds. Digital thermometers should be put into the food at the end of the cooking time to check the final cooking temperature. The sensor of the thermometer is located at the tip of the probe, which is most suitable for measuring the temperature of thin slices such as burgers and chicken breasts. Digital thermometers cannot be used for oven or immersed in water.
Dial -type dual metal thermometer: It has a metal long handle, and the upper end has a circular dial with different temperatures on it. Large dial -type thermometers can be put in the oven, suitable for large pieces of meat and entire poultry; small dial -type thermometers cannot be placed in the oven all the time, and can only be spot -checked the temperature of the food during the cooking and the end of the cooking. The thermometer follows the internal temperature of the food to the internal temperature of the food, about two inches from the tip of the long handle to about two inches. The temperature pointed out on the dial is the average value of the temperature along the inductive area.
